A couple of years ago I went to Puerto Vallarta with a couple of girl friends and it was love at first site. Ten days of pure relaxation, lying in the sun, exploring every side street in Old Town and just being in the moment for the first time in a while. One of the high lights of our trip was spending the day sailing with Ada Sailing http://www.adasailing.com, so as soon as I knew I was returning with my family Andrea at Ada was the first person I contacted. Andrea and her father Ernesto of course did not disappoint. Aaron, Maxwell and myself enjoyed every moment on the water (and in the water). Theses are a few of my favorite photos of our day.

Counting down the days until we return this December 2014.

This is Maria. I was so happy when she agreed to let me photograph her for my Glamour Portfolio. We met a few years ago through a mutual friend and we since have share a few girls night outs (not enough though). Not only is she super smart and savvy realtor, she’s pretty hot too. This was soooo much fun! One of the sweetest girls I know.

I know I have said this before, but my life as a photographer has presented me with opportunities time and again to meet people that have a profound effect on my life. I’m amazed at how an ordinary day can be completely transformed with one phone call. That’s what happen last week with Ashley called inquiring about me photographing her 3 year old daughter for the holidays. As she began to tell me a little about Bayleigh I immedietaly went into crafting overload. I knew that I had to make her photo shoot as unique and special as her little girl is.

Bayleigh has a rare genetic disease named Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa. Currently there are no cures, so Bayleigh continues to suffer from blisters internally and externally! She is one of three children in the state of Washington that has this rare disease. If you want your day to be transformed as mine was, you can follow Bayleigh’s story on Facebook at Bayleigh’s Butterfly.
